Do I have to be home when my order arrives? A signature is required for delivery. Keekaroo.com primarily utilizes UPS for shipment delivery. UPS makes three attempts to deliver your order. If after the third attempt a delivery is not accepted, the merchandise is sent back to Keekaroo.com. UPS must obtain a signature for any order being delivered, unless you have a request on file with them to allow deliveries without your signature. Due to the value of the content in the boxes, the carrier is normally instructed not to leave them at your doorstep.

How long will it take for my order to arrive? Depends on where you are! See the map below. Standard UPS shipping in-transit times apply. Whatever UPS guarantees us is what we guarantee you as our customer in terms of order arrival times.     What tools do I need to adjust the chair? Just an allen wrench! And it comes with the chair! Just one simple tool is needed! And we provide it for you! It's that easy!

    What is the optimal seat and footplate height for my child’s size? Where YOUR child is comfortable! In most cases parents set the Height Right Chair up to lift a child to a “normal” table height… thus the name Height Right. A good rule of thumb is to have the backrest touch the child’s back at or above the shoulder blades. The seat plate will be adjusted to accomplish this, and should also be set depth wise to leave around 1 inch of space between the end of the seat plate and the back of the child’s knees. The seat is also placed at an optimal height when the child’s elbows are level with the top of the table. The footplate should then be set so that the child is sitting comfortably on the seat plate and is still supported under his/her feet by the footplate. The footplate is placed at an optimal height when the child’s feet can rest flat on its surface with little or no under-thigh pressure at the leading edge. Favor having the footplate in a position where they can comfortably reach since this should have a calming affect on children, as well as a positive impact on Parent’s ability to digest a decent meal. You’ll know when they are properly positioned by how comfortable they look while in the Height Right High Chair.

    How do I clean the chair? With gentle soap and warm water. The Height Right™ Chair can be safely wiped clean with mild disinfectants/detergents. As with all wood furniture that is lacquered with environmentally safe low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), be sure to dry the surface once it is cleaned. Too much water left on the surface may change the finish. Water based lacquers* provide low VOC content (which is great for our environment). But this benefit comes at the expense of water resistance. Therefore, if water is left on the surface for approximately half hour or more, water (or spilled liquid foods) may penetrate through the lacquer finish over time causing the wood grain to swell and become rough to the touch.

If the stroller chassis parts have been exposed to salt water we recommend that they be rinsed down with fresh (tap) water as soon as possible. The hood may be sponged lightly using a damp cloth and a mild detergent. The seat cover, head cushion and harness pads may be washed. Dry thoroughly before reuse. Do not fold or store the product while wet and never store in a damp environment as this can cause mildew to form.

    I Received a Replacement Part with a New Invoice for an Item that was Lost in Transit. Have I been charged for this item twice? Of Course Not! Do I need to pay this new invoice? No! No, you have not been charged twice for the item nor do you have to pay the invoice. You have already paid for the product on your original invoice and therefore can discard the new invoice. You received an invoice for the replacement item because Keekaroo.com invoices all products that leave the facility to track inventory.

    If there is a problem with your Keekaroo™ product, Email Keekaroo™ Support or call toll free 1-800-994-2416 to arrange for a FREE EXCHANGE. For customers in the 48 contiguous United States...that's the lower 48 to you and me…we will pay the freight necessary to get you a full replacement. We want you to be happy… if you are not, neither are we!


    Option 2: FULL REFUND


    If you are not satisfied with your Keekaroo™ product and would like to arrange a FULL PRODUCT REFUND please either Email Keekaroo™ Return Support or call toll free 1-800-994-2416. Please note the following conditions:


    There are certain things you must do in the event of a return in order to receive a full refund.


    1) You must keep your carton and packing materials for safe return transport! Please carefully repack the items so they are secure and tight inside the box in the same configuration you originally received them.


    2) You must contact us within 30 Days of the receipt of the products. When you do, we will provide you with return instructions. You will be responsible for the return shipping, but will not be charged a re-stocking fee if you contact us within 30 days.
    3) Customers located outside of the contiguous United States (meaning Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APO, and any other International customers) are responsible for the cost of shipping the returned item(s) to Keekaroo.com also with a return authorization number and in the original packaging as above. To protect yourself, use a delivery service that has a tracking # and insurance. Of course, if you receive a defective product or an order that is in some way our error, Keekaroo.com will pay for the return shipping expense.

    When will I receive credit for my return? Soon! Please allow 2-3 weeks for the credit to be processed to allow for shipping time, evaluation of the product, and processing of the credit.


    Should I refuse delivery of my product rather than return it? No! You should NOT refuse delivery of your order because this can increase the amount of time needed to return credit to your account. They will provide you with the instructions and correct mailing address.


    Can I return the product once it has been opened? Yes! You can’t try it if you don’t open the box! Our return policy is very simply set to favor you as a Keekaroo.com Customer! If within 30 days of receiving one of our products you are not satisfied, you are free to return it to us, even if you have opened the product.

    *Please understand the toxicity of lacquers you hear about refers to the liquid solvent which is used as a “carrier” for the purpose of delivering the cellulose solids to the product. Once dried, the wet solvents are no longer present in the product because they have evaporated.

    Our lacquer has both water based and plant based characteristics. We use a water-based lacquer made from cellulose solids. Once the lacquer is dried, the cellulose remains as the final finish. Cellulose is a plant fiber, so these solids remain when the water-based carrier dries. Water-based lacquers are less toxic and more environmentally friendly compared to petroleum solvent-based lacquers.
